Terrorists Attack America Again, Through Nashville

February 7, 2010

Well, this weekend the U.S. was attacked again.  This time, they didn’t fly planes into buildings or try to light their underwear on fire over Detroit.  No, this was a massive attack on the Democratic principles of our Republic, and the values of all decent Americans. And it originated from Nashville of all places.  Yep, the birthplace of Country music, where the glories of being American are celebrated in song, is where the terrorists decided to convene and launch their insidious campaign against our country.  Pretty clever if you ask me.

What’s obvious is that now, more than ever, all real Americans must rise up to defend who we are and what we stand for.  As Tancredo leads the effort to return to the Jim Crow horrors of the past, the leader of Worldnet preaches paranoia by fanning the ‘birther’ flames, and Sarah Palin (reading from her hand) provides nothing but empty sarcasm and Hallmark Card platitudes, it is clear that we are under assault and it is imperative that we take back our country from the zealots and idealogues.

I hope you’ll join us as we stand against the Tali-party.  They stand in league with the Taiban, Al Qauda and Osama Bin Laden in their hatred for the United States of America, and we must be resolute in our opposition.  Throughout our history, true Americans have turned back those who would destroy our values and our democracy, from the Nazis, to Communism to the fanatics who trample on the teachings of Islam to promote their hate.  But this is a much more dangerous and insidious threat, because it comes from within, and it comes disguised as patriots who love their country.  As we have all learned from what took place in Nashville, that is definitely not the case.

I have spent much of the day trying to find a right-winger willing to condemn Tancredo’s hate speech. Haven’t found one yet.

    (sigh)
